1Admissions

How does centralized admission work?
Iraqi students are admitted through the centralized admissions portal of the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in accordance with Ministry regulations. MU provides guidance and support to students throughout this process.
Can students apply directly to MU?
Final admission is governed by Ministry regulations. Students may complete MU’s student application and seat reservation process to receive admissions guidance, university updates, and continuous support — while final admission decisions go through the Ministry’s central process.
What are the minimum grades?
Minimum grade requirements vary by academic program and are determined by Ministry regulations. Official thresholds are confirmed annually when admissions open for each academic year.
What documents are required?
Documents typically include: Iraqi secondary school certificate, national identity card, residency card, nationality certificate, and recent passport photographs. The full list is available on the Required Documents page.
Is there evening study?
Evening study programs are subject to Ministry regulations and program-specific availability. This information will be officially updated as relevant programs are approved.
Can transfer students apply?
Student transfers are governed by Ministry regulations and approved transfer policies. Students are encouraged to contact MU for guidance before initiating transfer procedures.

Are there registration fees?
No registration fees apply for the Founding Class of 2026. Students pay for education only — not for hidden administrative costs.
What payment methods are available?
Approved payment methods will be announced before the start of the 2026–2027 academic year. MU is committed to offering modern, transparent options for students and families.
Are installment plans available?
